About the
Formula.

What is Life Source PCOS Support?+
Life Source PCOS Support is a dual-phase natural supplement system developed by Dr. Russell Cooper, formulated specifically for women with PCOS and hormonal imbalances. It consists of two formulas, Hormonal Balance and Metabolic Balance, which work together to address the full spectrum of PCOS symptoms.
What is the difference between the full system and the individual bottles?+
PCOS Support is the complete dual-phase system containing both Hormonal Balance and Metabolic Balance. These two formulas work together to address all aspects of PCOS simultaneously. The individual bottles target specific concerns. The full system is always the most comprehensive and best-value option.
Which bottle should I start with if I can only afford one?+
If your main concerns are irregular periods, acne, mood swings, or fertility, start with Hormonal Balance. If weight gain, cravings, fatigue, and insulin resistance are your primary struggles, start with Metabolic Balance.
How is the new improved formula different from the old one?+
The new and improved PCOS Support has been reformulated for greater concentration and precision, delivering substantially higher active ingredient levels per capsule. With stronger extract ratios, elevated botanical potency, and the addition of Piperine to enhance absorption. View the full comparison →
Is Life Source a natural supplement?+
Yes. Life Source is formulated with natural botanical ingredients including Chaste Tree Berry, Gynostemma, Chromium, and Piperine. It contains no synthetic hormones and is not a pharmaceutical drug. It is a natural supplement designed to support the body's own hormonal processes.
Why does Life Source use a 30:1 Myo-Inositol to D-Chiro-Inositol ratio when most brands use 40:1?+
The 40:1 ratio has become an industry talking point, but it was derived from the average ratio found in blood plasma, not from clinical outcomes specific to PCOS. Dr. Cooper's research indicates that ovarian tissue in women with PCOS often requires a higher proportion of D-Chiro-Inositol to effectively support insulin signalling and androgen reduction at the cellular level. Our 30:1 ratio is a deliberate, clinically considered choice, not a trend. We would rather get the science right than follow the marketing.
Why doesn't Life Source use the same trendy ingredients I see in every other PCOS supplement?+
Because trending is not the same as effective. Many PCOS supplements on the market are built around ingredients that are broadly beneficial for general health including magnesium, zinc, vitamin D3, berberine, spearmint, and others. None of these are harmful and some women do feel marginally better taking them. But here is the problem: the doses included in most multi-ingredient PCOS formulas are so low that they would not be enough to cover half a day of meaningful therapeutic activity. At those levels, you are essentially taking a multivitamin that has been repackaged and marketed as a PCOS protocol. That is a very expensive multivitamin and a very big claim for very little action.

Life Source is not a collection of loosely related nutrients. It is a targeted protocol built around ingredients that have a specific, evidence-based mechanism of action within the hormonal and metabolic pathways that drive PCOS, dosed at levels that actually make a difference.

Other popular ingredients were considered and deliberately excluded by Dr. Cooper for specific clinical reasons. Ashwagandha is a well-researched adaptogen but it is also a known testosterone booster. In women with PCOS, androgens including testosterone are already elevated, and it is these elevated androgens that drive symptoms like acne, hair thinning, excess body hair, and irregular cycles. Giving an ingredient that further raises testosterone to a woman who is already androgen-dominant is not just unhelpful. It could actively worsen the very symptoms she is trying to resolve. Dong Quai has unpredictable phytoestrogenic activity that can be counterproductive in oestrogen-dominant presentations. Black Cohosh acts on oestrogen receptors and is far more beneficial for menopausal symptom relief than for PCOS. Its hormonal mechanism is not aligned with the androgen and insulin pathways that drive PCOS, and for women with oestrogen-dominant presentations it carries the same risk of further stimulating an already elevated oestrogen environment. Coleus Forskohlii stimulates adenylyl cyclase and can elevate cAMP levels, directly affecting thyroid hormone production, which is a serious concern given how commonly thyroid dysregulation co-exists with PCOS. Red Raspberry Leaf is a traditional uterine tonic that does not address the underlying hormonal drivers of PCOS. Wild Yam is widely misrepresented as a natural progesterone source. The body cannot convert its active compound into progesterone without laboratory processing. Its inclusion in PCOS supplements is largely marketing. African Potato has immunomodulatory properties but no established mechanism of action in PCOS and is known to interact with certain medications.

There is also something more serious to address. Some popular PCOS supplements contain herbs with phytoestrogenic or oestrogen-stimulating activity including Red Clover, Dong Quai, or high-dose Liquorice Root. For women with oestrogen-dominant PCOS, where oestrogen is already elevated relative to progesterone, introducing ingredients that further stimulate oestrogenic activity is not just ineffective. It is potentially harmful. Formulating without understanding the hormonal picture of your customer is irresponsible, and it is something we will never do.

Every ingredient in Life Source was chosen deliberately. Every ingredient excluded was excluded for a reason.

Understanding
PCOS.

What is PCOS?+
Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS) is one of the most common hormonal disorders affecting women of reproductive age. Most people associate it with irregular periods, elevated androgens, and cysts on the ovaries, and while those are real presentations, PCOS is far more complex than that. It is a systemic endocrine and metabolic condition that can affect insulin sensitivity, thyroid function, adrenal activity, gut health, mood, skin, weight, fertility, and cardiovascular risk. No two women experience it the same way, which is precisely why it remains one of the most misdiagnosed and misunderstood health conditions in women today, with many women waiting years before receiving a correct diagnosis. What are the most common symptoms of PCOS?+
Common symptoms include irregular or missed periods, weight gain (particularly around the abdomen), acne, excess facial or body hair, hair thinning or loss, fatigue, mood changes, difficulty falling pregnant, and sugar cravings. PCOS presents differently in every woman. Learn more about PCOS →
Can PCOS be cured?+
PCOS cannot be cured, but it can go into remission. And that is the goal. There is an important distinction between managing symptoms and actually achieving remission. Remission means your hormonal and metabolic markers normalise, your cycle regulates, and your symptoms quiet to the point where PCOS is no longer actively disrupting your life. It is real, it is achievable, and many women get there. It is also worth knowing that remission is not permanent by default. Stress, poor nutrition, or stopping support can bring symptoms back. The aim is not just to feel better temporarily, but to create the internal conditions where your body can stay in balance. Life Source is designed to support that journey.
Can I take Life Source alongside my contraceptive pill or other medication?+
Yes, you can. Many women take Life Source alongside their contraceptive pill and continue to experience the hormonal and metabolic benefits. We do however always recommend letting your doctor or gynaecologist know you are taking it, particularly if you are on other prescription medication. Please never discontinue any prescribed medication without medical guidance.
Is Life Source suitable if I am trying to fall pregnant?+
Yes, absolutely. Life Source is suitable and beneficial while you are trying to conceive, and many women use it specifically as part of their fertility support journey. The formula supports cycle regulation, hormonal balance, and insulin sensitivity, all of which are important foundations for fertility. The one exception is once you are confirmed pregnant or if you are breastfeeding, at which point we recommend discontinuing use and consulting your healthcare provider.
Section Three

What to
Expect.

How long before I start seeing results?+
Most women begin noticing changes within 2 to 4 weeks, particularly in energy levels, cravings, and mood. Cycle regulation typically improves within 1 to 3 months of consistent use. As with all natural supplements, results vary from person to person.
How long should I take Life Source for?+
We recommend a minimum of 3 months for meaningful, lasting results. PCOS is a long-term hormonal condition and the body needs time to recalibrate. Many women continue taking Life Source as part of their ongoing wellness routine.
What if I miss a dose?+
If you miss a dose, simply continue with your next scheduled dose. Do not double up. Consistency is key with natural supplements, so we recommend keeping your Life Source in a visible spot as a daily reminder.
Are there any side effects?+
Life Source PCOS Support is a detox-focused supplement. It works by helping the body clear excess oestrogens while simultaneously increasing progesterone, reducing androgens, and lowering cortisol. This is meaningful hormonal work, and for some women, particularly in the first week or two, the body's detox response can cause mild symptoms including headaches and gastrointestinal discomfort. This is not a sign that something is wrong. It is a sign that the formula is working.

If you experience these symptoms, we recommend reducing to 1 capsule per bottle per day for the first week until your body adjusts, then gradually increasing to the full dose. We also recommend always taking Life Source with food and ideally alongside a healthy fat. Curcumin, one of the active compounds in the formula, is fat-soluble and absorbs significantly better in the presence of dietary fat. Good options include olive oil, coconut oil, flaxseed oil, nut butters, raw seeds, or avocado. Even a small amount makes a meaningful difference to absorption and can also ease any digestive sensitivity.

If symptoms persist beyond two weeks or feel severe, please discontinue use and consult your healthcare provider.
